One of my favorite surprise performances last year at Zandari Feseta was catching Wings of the Isangs’ set. I had them on my radar for awhile before this, and was super excited that I managed to see them live.
Wings of the Isang are one of those bands that can manage to get you to forget your surroundings and just focus on the music. And I find myself wanting to close my eyes and immerse my senses in the songs. The Korean Music Awards were just last week and Wings of the Isang took home Best Modern Rock Album. These fellows bring my favorite parts of post hardcore to life with a potent vibrancy and explosions of emotion.
