About

Rock ‘N Seoul was created to support Korean independent artists in their efforts to get noticed in the West.

While the Korean idols’ have plenty of outlets for press coverage, and many promoters interested in helping them tour, the Rock ‘N Seoul crew have seen a gap in the market where our “indie” friends are concerned. So our goal is to give them press coverage, assist in booking,  promotion and management while touring. Simple as that. So if you’re looking for information about Korean bands and unique independent artists, look no further. If you’re a band that is seeking some promotional help for a new release, or assistance in touring, hit us up for that too – we’ll be happy to help.

Cheers!

The Rock ‘N Seoul Team

The Rock ‘N Seoul Team is:

Jenna Rowe

ME

Founder and Editor At Large.

Jenna attended the Institute of Production & Recording and has a degree in Entertainment and Music Business. Her passion for Korean music started in 2002 when she found an Lee Jung-Hyun album at a local Korean shop and that, as they say, is all she wrote. Jenna also writes for YAM Magazine – an international magazine focusing on media all around the world. She can often be found exploring the world wide web for new music, checking out local shows, or frantically trying to help bands promote and book shows.

Rebecca Cronan

Rebs

Rebecca got her start writing about Korean music with the Spanish-language online magazine Oh! Asia. Her love of all things Korean indie led her to attend SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas where she began to make connection in the K-Indie industry. Not only does Rebecca have an excellent written voice, her skills behind the camera during live shows are remarkable, often garnering the interest of the bands themselves. Rock ‘N Seoul is proud to add Rebecca as our second-in-command and regular contributor.

Cy White

Hi there. I’m Camiele White and I love my brother, music, and writing in that order. There’s nothing in this world I love more than discovering things that will forever alter my scope. Usually those things are found with artists hungry for exposure, the likes of which I’ll be attempting to write about here. If you’re interested in finding out what I’m like, scope my Twitter accounts (yeah, there are two): for every day nonsense, @MadCyWhite. For any and all things relating to Korean music and the Korean entertainment industry: @MindlessCy.
