When I was in Austin for SXSW I got to see Guten Birds play live, and their label, Coolluck Music passed along some music from their other artists. Included in that mix was Howaho.
I wasn’t sure to expect on this album, since I had not yet heard of Howaho – but I was pleasantly surprised by the quiet & emotional ambient music held within. Last weekend Howaho released a music video for “13 Children” one of the tracks off their album Unknown Origin. The video is filmed in a trippy 70’s style with a modern flare, that helps perpetuate the feeling of calm that the song creates.
